Teach Texts

These pages offer gibbon fact sheets and other gibbon-related introductory and instructional texts for students and science teachers. At present, just a few text pieces are available, but we hope to add more in the future.

We also invite readers to submit suitable texts. If accepted for inclusion, the text will be formatted by us and added to this page. Please send your texts to the webmaster.

The purposes of these texts are:

  • to be help young zoologists getting started in particular, gibbon-related scientific matters.
  • to provide lesson material to science teachers.
  • to promote gibbon conservation to young audiences.

The texts focus on gibbon biology and behavior, but are prepared in a language appropriate for the target audience.
